Candidates tell her what they want from their next role and she introduces them directly to decision makers at US tech companies, bypassing the application pile. Lia is free for companies; candidates pay a success fee of 20% of their first month's salary, and only if they are hired through an introduction she made. ## Frequently asked questions ### Is it for me? It is for you if you are in the US tech industry, regardless of your years of experience. Lia is specially focused on corporate jobs - engineering, product, sales, marketing, finance, HR, design, legal, etc. ### How does it work? After you sign-up, Lia starts searching and emailing you roles that align with your preferences. In her email, you will see two buttons: YES and NO. Click YES so Lia can talk with the role's decision maker and try to schedule a call between you two. Or click NO and provide feedback – like a regular person, Lia learns with feedback, and will use it to find a better match next time. You can also use your portal to see all roles from Lia's network and ask her to refer you to their decision makers. Lia will instantly check if you fulfill the role requirements and tell whether or not she's going to refer you – like a regular person, Lia doesn't like to waste her social capital. ### How much does it cost? Lia is free to use, and will only charge if you start a new job that came from a connection she made. In this scenario, the fee would be 20% of your first month's pre-tax base salary, due when you receive your first month paycheck. No hire, no pay. ### Will Lia submit applications on my behalf? No, instead of submitting hundreds of applications, Lia will talk to a few decision makers. Online application doesn't work anyway, so she will bypass it by talking directly with the people who can make your dream job real. ### How to train Lia? Lia will use the information from your signup to search for opportunities on your behalf, as well as your feedback. Use your portal to edit your signup information and feedback so Lia starts using your updated info into her matching. ### How does Refer use AI? Lia is an AI agent. She leverages AI for most of the data processing, searching, and matching to drive accuracy, speed, and reduce costs. This allows her to streamline and democratize access to her work as a personal career agent – usually only available to athletes and celebrities. ### Are there humans involved? While we use AI in our processes, our (human) team works hard to build and maintain relationships with decision makers at top tech companies, 'networking' on your behalf. ### Why use Refer vs others?
